Strategic Account Manager- FW Murphy Production Controls

Dover Precision Components is hiring a Strategic Account Manager for our FW Murphy Production Controls business. We manufacture and deliver a wide range of instrumentation and control solutions for the Oil & Gas Production and Natural Gas Compression markets. Our products improve the protection, performance, and reliability of the Natural Gas Supply Chain while protecting our environment and creating systems and equipment to help producers stay in compliance and meet stringent emission regulations. The territory is the Permian Basin, Texas. This is a remote role with up to 50% overnight travel.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a driven, relationship-oriented Strategic Account Manager, you will serve as the face of our solutions in the West Texas region. You will be responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships across the Permian Basin by offering tailored instrumentation and control system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our oil & gas clients. This role plays a key part in driving sustainable business growth and delivering high-value service to our end users, packagers, and OEMs. Responsibilities include :

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, primarily in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on packagers, OEMs, and providing support to distribution channels - including mid-stream, end users, and rental fleets.
• Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and developing strategies to grow market share in the region.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer applications and recommending the right FW Murphy solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, quoting, and closing deals.
• Partner closely with internal technical and support teams to deliver excellent post-sale service and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a regular travel schedule (up to 50% overnight travel) within the assigned territory to meet with customers and attend relevant industry events.

Salary range is $120,000- $165,000 depending on experience and industry background. This is a commission-based role.
