Thrift Store Lead Worker

Schedule / Hours : Schedule varies (40 hours per week)

This position is responsible for :

Serves as lead worker to employees working in the Thrift Store. Trains employees in the proper procedures for operating and maintaining a cash register. Operates and maintains a cash register. Receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assists customers purchasing items by utilizing a cash register. Collect monies, counts change, and prepares receipts.
• Receive, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store. Hang and tag clothing
• Collaborates with the supervisor to maintain awareness of daily and weekly sales goals

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions : Work is performed in a normal store environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather. Internal temperatures can be high with occasional discomforts associated with dust, noise, crowds, and the like
