Neuro ICU RN Job Details Location : Memphis, TN 38104 (Tennessee nursing jobs) Unit : Neuro Critical Care Unit (Neuro ICU) Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Start Dates : 10 / 6 / 2025, 10 / 20 / 2025, or 11 / 3 / 2025 Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Employment Type : Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens) On-site Position Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro ICU RN experience with prior travel nursing assignment, or 3 years of recent Neuro ICU experience if no travel experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (NLC compliant) Current BLS certification (Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required) Must reside at least 100 miles from the Memphis healthcare facility (strict requirement) First-time travel nurses accepted only with 3 years of recent Neuro ICU experience Cerner charting experience preferred At least 1 completed previous travel nurse assignment preferred Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher Travel Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill neurological patients in the Neuro ICU Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced neurological assessments Float between similar critical care units and campuses within 20 miles as needed Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as required Maintain compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and safety standards Apply now to join our Memphis Neuro ICU nursing team and take the next step in your travel healthcare career!
