Chalet is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Line Cook to join our dynamic back-of-house team. Ideal candidates will have strong culinary fundamentals, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Responsibilities :
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
Ensure food is prepared to the restaurant’s standards of quality and consistency
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Assist with receiving and proper storage of deliveries
Participate in daily prep and cleaning tasks as assigned by Chef or Sous Chef
Qualifications :
1+ years of experience in a professional kitchen preferred
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-first attitude
Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment
Ability to follow recipes and execute dishes accurately
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
