About The Position

Must-Have :

• Previous experience in an intensive care setting
• Ability to float between various ICU units as needed

Description :

The position requires a registered nurse to work in the intensive care unit.

The shift will consist of three 12-hour shifts.

The working hours are from 07 : 00 to 19 : 30.

Nurses will be required to work every other weekend, totaling two weekends per month.

Requests for time off are limited to five days maximum, with no more than two consecutive days off.

Holidays, the day before a holiday, and weekends do not permit time off requests.

Clinicians are required to float within their scope to meet facility needs.

ICU nurses will float between various ICU units, including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, and Neuro ICU.

In some cases, ICU nurses may also be asked to float to medical-surgical units.

The first week will consist of orientation and precepting shifts during the day.

The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center, and nursing staff will wear navy blue scrubs.

Charting will be done using the designated computerized documentation system.

Additional compliance requirements may apply, and timely responsiveness is expected.
