Operations Manager III
Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The Kuiper team is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team as an Operations Manager III. This position is a multi-faceted role requiring the ability to balance strategy and execution. This role will be responsible for managing warehouse managers, technicians, leads in functional areas such as material receipt, picking, kitting, or material delivery. You are comfortable with ambiguity and will set the vision for our long-term operational planning as well as our daily execution of tasks, ensuring the team consistently executes to meet customer needs. You recognize that your people are the key to success and use your energy, motivation and innovation to earn trust with your team every day. This is a hands-on position where your daily activities will range from labor planning to strategic projects to new system development to supporting the customers that depend on our services. This role will be a Monday - Friday night shift role, but candidates must be open to all shifts.

A Day in the Life :
You engage your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You provide your team with the tools needed for success while driving improvements in productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving. You develop the talent management and resource allocation strategies to staff in line with forecasted and actual volumes. This requires you to look across multiple operations to balance the line and ensure customer needs are met at the right time and location. You demonstrate business acumen and skills in driving change by developing business proposals and driving implementation of recommendations through effective written and oral communication. You effectively lead cross-functional meetings with clear document writing, agenda creation, note capture and follow-up activity coordination.
