We are seeking Board Certified Radiologists for onsite Interventional and Telerad DX & Nuclear Radiology locum tenens assignments at a top-tier facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Whether you’re open to onsite coverage for light IR procedures or interested in supporting remotely with Diagnostic and Nuclear reads, this opportunity is structured for long-term success. Paid travel and lodging are included for onsite providers, with premium scheduling across weekdays, weekends, and call rotations.

Opportunity Overview

Schedule Options :

IR Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

  • IR Call : Weeknights + 24-Hour Sunday Call
  • Diagnostic Schedule : Monday–Friday (8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM or 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM)
  • Diagnostic Weekends : 11 : 00 PM – 8 : 00 AM, 11 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM, or 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM
  • Nuclear Radiology : Monday–Sunday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (No Call Required)

    • Setting : Onsite preferred, remote DX / Nuclear options available

  • Case Types : Light IR procedures, Diagnostic studies, and Nuclear Medicine
  • Shift Length : 10 Hours
  • Call Requirements : Vary by modality – see above
  • Technology Stack : RPCE Platform | PowerScribe 4.0
  • EMR : Attached info; confirmation upon application
  • Patient Volume : Moderate, with support for ED and inpatient reads

  • RVU target : ~70–80 reads per 8-hour shift

    • Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified Radiologist (ABR or AOBR)
  • Active & Unrestricted State License(s) – Multistate encouraged
  • Must be proficient in general DX, comfortable with light IR (myelograms, arthrograms, GI fluoro, etc.)
  • Willing to cross-cover modalities when needed
