Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with 1-2 years of acute care experience to provide X-ray services using advanced imaging equipment for neonate through geriatric patients.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work setting includes imaging services for both pediatric and adult patients across inpatient, outpatient, ED, NICU, OR, and trauma unitsDaily case volume averages 190 X-ray studies per 24-hour periodEquipment includes 3 fluoroscopy rooms, 4 plain film rooms, 7 portable units, 7 C-arms, and 1 O-ARMProcedures include general X-ray, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, trauma, OR cross-tables, and spine and orthopedic imagingPatient assignments are typically 1 : 1Must be familiar with neonates, pediatrics, and ICU patientsUses Epic EMR and Radiant; McKesson PACS and Digital Siemens X-ray experience strongly preferred, OEC C-arm required10-hour rotating shifts with weekend and on-call rotation as required by the departmentRequired to float within all areas of the department and to affiliated hospital locationsResponsibilities include providing general X-ray, fluoroscopy, trauma, and OR imaging services, as well as transporting ED patients as neededTeam support includes 24 / 7 onsite RTs, hospitalists, and intensivistsHospital orientation and 4-5 days of area-specific training provided, including compliance check-off sheetMust respond to call within 30 minutes; sleep room available by reservationAssigned to work holidays if shift falls on the holidayScrub color is any except camo or denim; hospital-provided OR scrubs required in surgeryFree parking is available in designated areasFirst-time travelers are accepted if they have acute care experience\n \n Requirements\n
1-2 years of experience as a Rad Tech in an acute care settingCurrent BLS certification requiredARRT or RCIS certification and WA Rad Tech License required (license required if applicable)Experience with Epic EMR and proficiency with portable imaging and C-arms requiredMust be able to work independently and handle a variety of patient populations across inpatient and outpatient settingsExperience working with neonate and pediatric patients is required\n Benefits\n
