We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in a dynamic healthcare facility near Shelbyville, TN. This position offers an exciting chance to join a committed team focused on delivering high-quality emergency care.

Flexible Scheduling :

The locum tenens need arises from the vacancy of two full-time physician positions.

  • The schedule includes on-site shifts covering evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring comprehensive patient care without any call responsibilities.

    • Shift Details :

    Standard Shift Times :

    6 AM to 2 PM

  • 9 AM to 6 PM
  • 1 PM to 10 PM
  • 3 PM to 11 PM
  • 4 PM to 10 PM
  • 9 PM to 6 AM
  • Duration of Need : Minimum of 3 months, with the potential to extend up to 6-9 months.

    • Patient Care Environment :

    Work in a facility with a Level 3 trauma designation , providing care for a variety of cases including chest pain, abdominal pain, and altered mental status.

  • Average patient census is approximately 130 patients per day, with about 28 daily admissions.
  • Engage with a diverse patient population, ensuring each patient receives timely and effective treatment.

    Collaborate with a fully staffed Emergency Department, including RNs and advanced practice providers.

  • Ideal candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred.
