About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Profession : Radiology

Specialty : MRI Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (06 : 30 - 19 : 00)

Experience : Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital experience preferred

License : Valid state license required

Certifications : BLS (AHA), Venipuncture Licensure, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Certification as MR technologist

Must-Have : Must have IV insertion experience

Description :

Competently performs routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures.

Produces quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.

Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills.

Executes safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.

Gains confidence and cooperation from patients and their families through competent assessment.

Monitors patients attentively and communicates effectively.

Adheres to all regulations and policies to ensure privacy and safety.

May perform specific procedures and assist in orienting other staff to the department.

Understanding of various MRI techniques is beneficial.

Experience with specific patient demographics is preferred.

Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
