Maintenance Project Manager – Supportive Housing

Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, PA – Full-time; varied schedule; on-call as needed

Starting Pay : $26.00 / hour - $34.00 / hour; Depending on experience

The Maintenance Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance projects across multiple properties. This role involves managing capital improvements, supervising contractors, indirectly supervising maintenance technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes, and executing preventative maintenance strategies. The ideal Project Maintenance Manager is a hands-on leader with strong project management and technical skills. With an emphasis on safety, detail, and time management this position travels to multiple locations in the region to offer support where needed.

Requirements for the Maintenance Project Manager :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Have at least 5 years experience in building maintenance.
  • 2 years Construction Project Management Experience.
  • Relevant licenses and bonds.
  • Strong handyman / building skills.
  • Ability to operate power tools and hand tools following all safety standards.
  • Ability to read architectural drawing and blueprint.
  • Valid Driver’s License Access to a registered and insured vehicle.
  • HVAC Certification at time of hire is preferred.  Successful candidates must attain certification within 3 years.

    EPA 608 Certification at time of hire is preferred.  Successful candidates must attain certification within 1 year.
