We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Automotive Service Writer to join our team. This role involves handling customer sales, making service recommendations, creating invoices, and ordering parts.

Pay : Based on experience.

Location : Winnetka Transmissions.

Hours : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM.

Responsibilities :

• Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Serve as the first point of contact in person and over the phone.
• Schedule appointments and explain services, processes, and timelines.
• Monitor vehicle progress and keep customers updated on service status, costs, and any changes.
• Maximize sales by recommending necessary repairs and services.
• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and document customer concerns for accurate diagnostics.
• Assist with work orders, invoices, and parts ordering.
• Follow company policies related to payments, returns, and refunds.
• Collaborate with management to address customer concerns and business opportunities.
