Manager On Duty
The Manager on Duty is responsible for the guest satisfaction of Resort Guests and Elwood members across all outlets of the property. This is an integral position held accountable for the seamless movement of guests in and out of the resort and outlets. The Manager on Duty is flexible, proactive, resourceful, efficient, and always acts with a high level of professionalism.
Job duties include; although are not limited to :
- Effectively managing the Lobby activity on Friday and Saturday late evenings through guest and member recognition, assistance and seamless flow to and from the Elwood Club and Resort outlets
- Is adequately briefed on pertinent information regarding arrivals for resort and outlets, recognition of in-house resort guests, members and daily group activities
- Creating and maintaining positive rapport and relationship with local visitors while assisting all outlets in a positive flow in and out.
- Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to guests and members throughout their visit.
- Identifying resorts guests in the lobby and welcoming them back to the resort, inviting them to The Elwood Club and / or providing any other needs as determined necessary to ensure a positive experience.
- Performing additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope based on business needs
- Flexibility to oversee daily operations of F&B outlets across the property as needed.
- Familiarity with style of cuisine and service established for concept
- Familiarity with food service practices and procedures
- Circulate on the outlet floor, continually checking with the guests and the service staff to ensure that everything is to the guests' satisfaction
- Handle guests' complaints, have the desire to create WOW moments, and thank the guests upon departure
- Recognize Elwood Members in the outlets and WOW them as an important member.
- Monitor, supervise set up and maintenance of dining room area to ensure that it is up to standard
- Control flow of room by seating guests in each section by rotation
- Responsible for assigning and supervising all opening and / or closing side duties
- Make entries into logbook and / or track guest related opportunities daily
- Conduct pre-meal meetings
- Ensure the department abides by all safety and sanitation policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the scope of duties, based on business needs

The pay scale for Manager on Duty is $70,000-$75,000.
The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
