Job Description

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promote a sense of well-being for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will provide reassurance and support, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication will help foster a welcoming environment. This is a driving position, where your agility, reliability, and teamwork will contribute to a positive culture rooted in integrity and care for people.

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting hospital staff and visitors as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any unusual conditions.
  • Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or suspicious activity to appropriate contacts in accordance with site protocols.
  • Assist with access control to restricted areas and / or sensitive locations within the healthcare facility as per site requirements.
  • Support Allied Universal and healthcare staff during emergencies or drills by following established procedures and protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and first aid certification is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
