We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Legal Assistant to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced legal environment, handling a heavy case load and contributing to the successful resolution of legal matters. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in legal documentation, legal writing, and legal document review. They will also be adept at coordinating with insurance adjusters, drafting routine motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and correspondence.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including :

• Managing a heavy case load, ensuring all cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
• Preparing, reviewing, and filing legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures.
• Drafting routine motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Coordinating with insurance adjusters to settle claims and disputes.
• Preparing and compiling specials for insurance carriers.
• Requesting clients itemized bills and medical records as necessary.
• Assisting in the administration of plaintiffs personal injury and workers compensation cases.
• Providing bilingual support in Spanish and, preferably, Polish.
• Performing other legal administrative tasks as required.
