Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development to join our Clinical Development team. This critical leadership role will provide clinical direction across one or more programs in early and / or late-stage development, while also representing Clinical Development in business development activities. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, scientifically rigorous, and passionate about bringing innovative therapies to patients.

With responsibilities spanning clinical strategy, medical monitoring, cross-functional collaboration, and external engagement, this individual will play a key role in driving enterprise goals forward. Depending on business needs, this role may include mentorship and management of clinical scientists.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Development Leadership (50%)

• Lead clinical strategy and execution for early- and late-stage programs.
• Serve as medical monitor and oversee data review and clinical documentation.
• Build KOL relationships, lead advisory activities, and support external publications.
• Present findings to leadership and mentor clinical team members as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Organizational Growth (50%)

Additional Information

Deciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $289,000 - $397,000. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance and / or location.​
