Mental Health Specialist II

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills

Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and develops objectives and interventions

Maintains relationships with clients to recognize emotional or behavioral changes and advocates for appropriate resources

Required Qualifications

Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

Competency in assessing client needs and providing appropriate referrals

Ability to work under time and decision-making pressure

Experience in crisis intervention

Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
