About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required

License : State License

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, CRT or RRT

Must-Have : Associate Degree, Diploma, or Certification in a Respiratory Therapy Program

Description :

Cross posting of previous job ID.

13 weeks with 12-hour days.

Every third weekend and holiday.

Required : 1 year of experience.

ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS certifications.

State License in Wisconsin.

CRT or RRT issued by the NBRC.

Experience with newborns on CPAP is encouraged.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Unit details include staffing of 2 RTs on days and 2 RTs on nights.

Special equipment includes Servo U ventilator and HT70 transport ventilator.

Candidates will float within the facility as needed.

Additional skills required include :

Aerosol setup for mask and trach.

Assist in high-risk delivery.

Basic EKG interpretation.

Drawing arterial blood gases.

Intubation assistance.

Tracheostomy care and suctioning.

Experience with pediatric patients is beneficial.

Must complete compliance requirements promptly to avoid assignment cancellation.

References from previous supervisors are required for submission.

Modules are completed during orientation.
