American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with at least 2 years of experience and current ACLS and BLS certifications for this surgical nursing position.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital Operating Room environment

Cases include Ortho (including joints), Neuro, Vascular, General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Bariatrics, Laparoscopic procedures, ENT, and Robotics

No open heart or transplant cases performed

Ten ORs run daily beginning at 7 : 30 AM

Day shift schedule : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM

No weekend or on-call shifts required

Uses Epic EMR

Nurses support a wide range of surgical specialties with diverse cases

Modules are completed during orientation and annually as assigned

Block scheduling is available Monday through Friday

Only one RTO request permitted for the duration of the contract

Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate

Requirements

Active MD or Compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience

Certifications required : BLS and ACLS

Epic EMR experience required

First-time travelers are not accepted

Pending license considered
