Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor - Pediatric Step Down

Job Description

Seeking a full-time RN Unit Supervisor for a 22-bed Pediatric Step Down Unit at L.J. Murphey Children's Hospital in Falls Church, VA.

Our unit cares for intermediate patients with renal diagnoses, high flow, and medical / surgical needs, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 3 : 1 or 4 : 1.

The RN Unit Supervisor leads clinical operations, supports shared governance, and promotes a caring team environment aligned with organizational priorities.

Requirements : Minimum 1-year pediatric RN experience, BLS certification (PALS preferred), RN licensure in VA, BSN degree (or ADN within 1 year), and charge nurse / preceptor experience preferred.

Schedule : 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends. Location : In person in Falls Church, VA, with relocation preferred.
