Order Desk Specialist

Pay : $18 / hr+ DOE | Contract-to-Hire | Start : ASAP - Monday-Friday 8-5pm

Overview :

A growing company in the home products industry is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Order Desk Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing top-notch customer service while supporting daily order operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Receive and process customer orders, price quotes, and product inquiries
  • Provide information on pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate with sales, accounting, and warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
  • Assist with order adjustments, returns, and general customer support

Requirements :

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service or order processing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with QuickBooks is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Detail-oriented and professional with a customer-first mindset
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus
