Responsibilities

• Build rapport with patients, providing clear, concise details regarding specific surgery and associated costs, and answering questions about procedures.
• Greet patients with a smile, maintain eye contact, and use appropriate dialogue to create a positive experience.
• Overcome objections and recommend surgery based on the patient's desired outcomes and physician recommendation.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of AVP's services and procedures, communicating in a way that earns patient trust and business.
• Maintain a conversion rate of 60% or higher of eligible candidates.
• Meet company goals set within specified timeframes.
• Obtain necessary patient information to complete paperwork.
• Schedule all patient surgery appointments, including pre- and post-operative visits and appointments with the referring physician.
• Aid patients in obtaining financing when needed.
• Prepare surgical charts and label documents per ASC Coordinator specifications.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to transfer chart information and complete charts as requested.
• Answer telephone inquiries from patients, families, and referring physicians concerning surgery.
• Obtain proper referrals or authorizations.
• Collect and process payments from patients, reconciling daily cash reports.
• Respond to new patient inquiries and make outbound calls and / or emails to leads.
• Follow up with all non-converted patients after consultation.
• Solicit referrals from patients, creating excitement to share a positive experience with friends and family.
