CCS Certified Coder

A company is looking for an IP Facility Coder III - CCS.

Key Responsibilities

Code inpatient and outpatient hospital records, ED, Home Health, Hospice, and professional fee services

Review medical records to assign appropriate codes for financial reimbursement and compliance with regulations

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and resolve pre-bill edits and denials for assigned accounts

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Certification in CCS, CCS-P, CPC-H, or RHIT / RHIA required at time of hire

Three to five years of coding experience required

Proficiency in ICD-9 / 10 CM and CPT-4 coding systems

Ability to demonstrate knowledge in multiple areas of service or specific specialties
