SV Academy has partnered with a fast-growing investment data firm in the San Francisco Bay area who is seeking experienced Sales & Business Development Representatives. They're seeking dynamic , and motivated sales professional with just a few years of experience to build their sales team and take the company to the next level. Working directly with the co-founders, you'll be taking prospects from discovery to close, owning and continuously improving the company's sales process.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy : Assist in developing and executing sales plans to achieve targets, learning to manage parts of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
Discovery to Closing : Understand clients' challenges and provide consultative sales that align with their business objectives. Assist with discovery calls, answer questions, proposals, and follow-ups all the way to closing.
Reporting : Accurately track and report sales activity and communicate this to management.
Market Awareness : Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to effectively position the company's offerings.
Collaboration : Work with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and other teams to deliver a seamless client experience and drive customer success.
Client Relationship Building : Build and nurture relationships with select clients to help increase customer satisfaction, retention, and identify upsell opportunities.
Travel to conferences and offsites 3 to 6 times a year.
Report to the Co-Founder & Chief Growth Officer and collaborate with their three co-founders and the rest of the team on a weekly basis.
Requirements
Experience : 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on data or technical sales preferred.
Track Record : Some experience meeting or exceeding sales objectives and contributing to revenue growth.
Sales Skills : Developing consultative sales skills, including the ability to communicate value propositions and address client needs.
Communication : Good written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to small groups.
CRM Familiarity : Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
Self-Motivated : Driven, with a proactive approach to sales and the ability to work independently.
Analytical Skills : Ability to learn to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
