ICU Nurse Job Details Location : Keyser, West Virginia (WV), 26726 – ideal for nurses seeking West Virginia travel nursing jobs Facility : Acute care hospital with a 4-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Assignment Type : 13-week travel RN contract (Start : 10 / 9 / 2025 – End : 1 / 8 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour night shifts (18 : 45 – 07 : 15), including scheduled weekends Hours : 36 hours per week guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary : $1910 - $2040 EMR System : EpicCare Inpatient EMR Orientation : 1-2 shifts with experienced preceptor Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (open to candidates awaiting WV RN licensure) Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience Required Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS Proficient in caring for ICU and MedSurg patients Experience with ventilators, vasopressors, and ICU drips Excellent communication and teamwork abilities ICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality critical care nursing to patients in a 4-bed ICU setting Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as COVID-pneumonia, post-operative (orthopedic, urology), COPD, CHF, and other acute illnesses Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, nurse practitioners, and clinical support staff Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled Work closely with patient care technicians (PCTs) and MedSurg nurses Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures Experience the welcoming community and natural beauty of Keyser, WV, while making a difference as a travel ICU nurse.
