Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Base Management Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) (Level 2 or 3) to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, Washington in support of the E-7 Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) program on the New Business Supply Chain team.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Facilitates supplier / subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.
  • Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies.
  • Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities.
  • Develops mitigation plans.
  • Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities.
  • Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

  • Experience in finance, supply chain, project management, supplier management, engineering, math, and / or accounting
  • Experience in a role that required strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

  • Technical bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent tools), with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data in Excel
  • Level 2 : 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 3 : 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

    Travel : Some travel may be required.

    Shift : 1st Shift
