About The Position

Job Summary : We are seeking a dynamic ICU RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care for patients that need close monitoring and frequent assessments. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner

What will you will do in this role :

  • Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
  • Provide high focus care with a commitment to continuous improvement

Job Requirements

Job Requirements :

  • 1+ year of acute care ICU experience (Within the last 3 years)
  • Would be comfortable on speaking with someone that has acute care PICU experience
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required :
  • If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward.
  • If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire
  • BSN is preferred
  • CCRN preferred
  • What qualifications you will need :

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

    Medical / Surgical ICU / vented, vasoactive mediations, low acute trauma patients, Cardiac, pulmonary, and metabolic

    8 - 10

    Typical patient stay?

    3-4

    Typical daily patient discharges?

    1  discharge, 2-3 transfers to step-down or medical floor.

    New unit, strong team  dynamic, access to supplies and equipment. Leadership present on unit.
