Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract-to-hire opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a closed-door, long-term care (LTC) facility in Brockton, MA. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment managing a high-volume pharmacy with roughly 600 prescriptions daily. Ideal candidates are licensed, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accuracy under pressure.

Location : Brockton, Massachusetts

Facility Type : Closed door, Long-Term Care

Schedule :

Monday to Friday : 2 : 00 PM 10 : 00 PM OR 4 : 00 PM 12 : 00 AM
Weekend shifts : Saturday or Sunday, 9 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM (one weekend per month)

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose systems for timely delivery to residents.

Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring proper storage conditions and expiration dates.

Maintain accurate patient and medication records using specialized software systems (Frameworks; training provided).

Work efficiently in a high-volume environment, managing approximately 600 prescriptions daily.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.

Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required.

Previous pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a high-volume setting.

Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems.
