A prestigious AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a skilled and driven Associate Attorney to join its highly-regarded Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Litigation Practice Group . This role offers the chance to work on sophisticated corporate restructuring and bankruptcy litigation matters across a national platform.

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction , in good standing.
  • 3–6 years of substantive experience representing parties in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings and creditors' rights litigation
  • Bankruptcy & Restructuring Expertise

Demonstrated experience with complex corporate restructurings, including both

debtor and creditor representations in Chapter 11 and Chapter 9 municipal insolvency cases

  • Litigation Experience : Excel in drafting discovery motion practice , and court appearances for bankruptcy-related disputes.
  • Additional Transactional Background : Familiarity with distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings is a plus
  • Soft Skills : Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; and sound judgment are essential.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in corporate restructurings and bankruptcy litigation matters, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 9 proceedings
  • Provide strategic guidance to both creditors and debtors in complex insolvency cases.
  • Assist with acquisitions of distressed assets and corporate workouts , both in and out of court
  • Draft pleadings prepare discovery , and manage motion practice in high-stakes litigation.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and clients in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

    Competitive Compensation and Benefits

  • Base pay range

    • $210,000.00 / yr - $305,000.00 / yr

  • Annual Bonus
