Quality Engineer - 1st Shift at TTM Technologies, Inc.

Responsibilities
- Perform product assurance activities to ensure dimensional, material, and visual characteristics meet technical data requirements.
- Review supplier quality data and nonconformances; provide dispositions and corrective actions.
- Assure parts and components are inspected efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Define and implement control points within manufacturing processes using quality inspection plans and specifications.
- Partner with operators, inspectors, suppliers, and Process Engineering on daily questions or issues.
- Interact with customers, suppliers, and management on quality concerns affecting product compliance, corrective and preventative actions.
- Review customer purchase orders and defined quality clauses through Contract Review.
- Support completion of First Article Inspection Reports, FAIRs, and other essential quality systems.
- Apply knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP; active member of QMS and EHS internal audit team.
- Aid in training associates in department specific work procedures.
- Coordinate inspection and perform in-house release source activities as required.
- Coordinate defect escape prevention activities with QC and Production Manager for all production and inspection departments.
- Support monthly Continuous Improvement Meetings with Production and Quality Departments.
Qualifications
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including statistical data analysis and interpretation.Strong background in key manufacturing performance metrics.Strong communication skills in English (verbal & written); planning, and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.Work up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and is flexible to work weekends.Excellent interpersonal skills; willingness to be part of a team.Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Good English skills with the ability to read, write and communicate clearly.Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.Education & Experience
BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience required.Previous engineering experience within a PCBA environment.Working knowledge of Industry and Military Standards.Compensation & Benefits
