A Commercial Lines Processor is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to management and other staff members of Cross Insurance - Coastal Region relative to the Commercial Lines Department.
Standard duties of a Commercial Lines Assistant include :
- Provide general administrative and project-related support to Regional Leadership team for Commercial Lines Insurance
- Draft general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans and other documents necessary for analyzing and promoting business goals. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
- Understanding and following the Commercial Lines Workflow Manual.
- Processing and auditing transactions to ensure correct workflows are being used.
- Following up and completing assigned responsibilities on schedule.
- Running various reports and ensuring accuracy of the reports, distributing to leadership / team members as needed.
- Assisting service team with gathering information to complete applications
- Reviewing insurance company quotations
- Online quoting with various insurance companies
- Checking policies for accuracy and ordering policy changes as directed by the account managers
Organize, set, and maintain priorities.
Working knowledge and / or experience with AMS360 and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams) preferred but will train.Understanding the core job responsibilities of Producers and Account Managers.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications :
Working towards or holding a Bachelor's Degree or greater in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and AdobePro. Experience with Power BI is helpful but not necessaryStrong organizational skillsDISCLAIMER :
