Job Overview

Marvin Roanoke is looking for a Production Trainer l to join the team.This position is responsible for assisting leadership by developing and training production associates on current and new products, ensuring that all quality standards and operating procedures are being followed. Advocate continuous improvement by insuring quality assurance, safety, and productivity in all departments.

Highlights of your role

Assist with training new employees on new job functions

• Be familiar with, or become familiar with, all production operations
• Train and certify production associates on positions that require certifications.
• Maintain up-to-date training records for cross training, quality notifications, safety, toolbox trainings, etc.
• Review safety and quality data daily while identifying training opportunities
• Review SOP's created by engineering and recommend SOP changes when required.
• Assist Supervisors with department employee performance by providing formative feedback.
• Ensure quality standards are effectively followed and maintained.
• Assist with in-process manufacturing audits.
• Apply critical thinking to assist the Training team solve moderately complex issues or problems
