Our client, a major multinational toy manufacturing and entertainment company, is actively looking for a Sales Tax Admin to join their team in East Aurora, NY. This position is on-site 4 days a week in East Aurora, so only local applicants will be considered.
- This begins as a 6 month contract with an opportunity to extend or convert at any time
Responsibilities :
Keep track of Due Date Listing to make sure all monthly, quarterly and annual submissions are on track, process payment vouchers and prepare mailingsUpdate state website information, submit electronic returns and corresponding payments, save filing backups and any state-related communications in relevant foldersAssist in gathering information and back-up for non-income related sales and use tax auditsAssist with various miscellaneous non-income related tax filings including but not limited to annual reports, business licenses, and unclaimed property reportingResearch requests for exempt documentation from Business Units and suppliers for validityProvide high quality and efficient service to Mattel's internal and external customersQualifications :
Bachelors degree (in related area preferred, but not required)2-3 years of relevant experience in Sales TaxAbility to prioritize tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with people at all levels in open office setting.Excellent verbal and communication skills.Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
