Utility Locator Supervisor

Are you a highly skilled and experienced utility locator with a knack for leadership? Do you thrive in a role where you can guide a team, ensure safety, and solve complex problems in the field? We're looking for a Locating Supervisor to join our team in the Minneapolis-metro area.

In this role, you'll be the linchpin of our locating operations, responsible for leading a team, ensuring their safety and success, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Lead with Safety First : Actively participate in and lead safety talks and training. You'll ensure all team members follow safety policies and practices, and that all vehicles and equipment are well-maintained.
• Mentor Your Team : Provide professional leadership and direction to your direct reports. This includes setting goals, conducting regular one-on-one feedback sessions, and identifying training needs to help your team grow.
• Manage Operations : Handle the full scope of operational duties, from staffing and scheduling to reviewing the quality of locates and managing local inventory. You'll also be an active participant in the hiring process for new locators.
• Act as a Problem-Solver : Investigate facility damages, communicate with all affected parties. You'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting and providing solutions in the field.
• Build Relationships : Develop and maintain positive relationships with contractors, excavators, and customers, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.

What We're Looking For

This position is compensated with a salary range of $66,500 - $79,000. The position includes other benefits like health & dental insurance, health saving account, PTO, paid holidays, 401k with company match and much more.
