job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProduction Prep Ensure materials are accurately labeled and staged for proper station. Assist in cutting, sorting and labeling lumber for specific jobs. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move material. Inventory Management Rotate and maintain stock to prevent weathering or damage to material. Notify supervisor of low stock or discrepancies. Receiving Verify deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders. Inspect received materials for damage or quality issues. Receive goods into the inventory system. Packaging Stage completed material to prevent weathering or damage in an organized way for proper truck loading. Operate banding and wrapping tools safely and efficiently. Pull and stage non-manufactured products. Shipping Verify that outgoing loads match shipping documents and delivery schedules. Secure components to prevent damage during transit. Complete and file shipping documentation accurately into inventory system. Maintain Yard & Buildings Ensure tools and equipment are stored properly after use. Perform basic facility maintenance tasks. Clear snow, debris, or obstructions as needed to maintain safe access.
