Position Overview
Our client is hiring Claims Representatives to support the Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program. These representatives will play a vital role in guiding impacted residents through the claims process with compassion and professionalism. Representatives will provide in-person assistance, answer inquiries, and help residents complete applications and submit documentation. Full training, program guidelines, and onsite support will be provided to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Assistance : Provide empathetic, in-person support by answering questions and addressing resident concerns.
Application Support : Assist residents with completing claims applications, uploading documents, and ensuring accuracy per established policies.
Resident Engagement : Actively listen to residents’ needs and ensure they are supported at every step of the process.
Document Management : Scan, upload, and validate documents while maintaining compliance with program standards.
Issue Resolution : Identify and escalate complex cases or exceptions to the appropriate teams.
Compliance & Confidentiality : Protect sensitive resident information by adhering to data privacy and legal requirements.
Communication : Deliver clear instructions and updates on claim status and next steps.
Qualifications & Skills
Preferred Experience : Prior claims support in insurance or healthcare settings.
Technical Skills : Comfort with web-based systems and basic MS Office.
Customer Service Skills : Strong active listening, empathy, and professionalism in sensitive or emotional situations.
Other Requirements :
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively.
