Overview Join to apply for the Instructional Content Specialist role at VEGA Americas, Inc. In-office at our Mason, OH HQ. The Instructional Content Specialist will design, develop, and oversee training programs and content that meet organizational goals and learner needs. This role collaborates with subject matter experts, manages projects from concept to delivery, and ensures course materials are accurate, engaging, and up to date. Responsibilities include creating instructor-led and eLearning content, implementing virtual training, and developing multimedia materials. The ideal candidate has strong instructional design and project management skills, with a focus on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Create and oversee all curriculum including programming changes and additions
Work closely with subject matter experts to identify what participants need to learn
Work independently and, when necessary, collaborate with others on developing courseware and oversee projects
Coordinate with subject matter experts during development to ensure consistency and cohesiveness
Coordinate with task owners to ensure milestones and deadlines are met
Apply organizational and project management planning skills
Revise, rewrite and review course content and supporting materials for accuracy to reflect new functionality and feedback
Instructor-led Content Creation
Implement and coordinate virtual training offerings
Develop training media such as training videos and webinars
Identify new and current training offerings for possible professional development hours
Coordinate with other departments to ensure equipment and technology support for training
Lead efforts for program sustainability and course recognition or accreditation where appropriate
Develop up to production phase and coordinate handoff to production with eLearning Developer
Maintain knowledge of instructional design theory, adult learning methodologies, and trends
Proactively seek solutions and enhancements to training courses and content
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements
Education and / or Experience Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, communication, education or equivalent from a four-year college or university
3 to 4 years related experience
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred experience with 360, Articulate, Adobe Captivate and Lucid
Preferred experience with LMS administration
