Location : Various sites across San Diego

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm

Transportation : Must have reliable transportation to travel between sites and a valid and active driver's license

Eligibility : Must have completed 12 Child Development units from an accredited college

Position Summary :

The Inclusion Coach provides direct support to children ages 0–5 with challenging behaviors and / or disabilities. This role is designed to help children successfully reenter and participate in classroom routines and activities. The coach works alongside the child, modeling inclusive practices for teachers and peers, and collaborates closely with Program Specialists who assign children to the coach.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support children with social-emotional or behavioral challenges in classroom settings
• Model positive inclusion strategies for teachers and students
• Assist with daily routines including feeding, toileting, lifting, and mobility support
• Collaborate with teachers to implement behavior and inclusion plans
• Participate in classroom activities, field trips, and socialization events
• Maintain documentation and support referrals for additional services
• Attend required trainings and professional development (minimum 15 hours / year)
