Shipping And Receiving Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support our warehouse operation. In this role, you are responsible for the accuracy of received materials and finished goods shipped through the inspection and verification processes to maintain the integrity of information as it pertains to meeting the customer's needs. The core hours for this position are 2 : 30PM - 11 : 00PM, M-F with some flexibility to troubleshoot issues on the weekends.

Essential to the Position :

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
• Responsible for creating labels for the paperwork received from customer service representatives and to call the carrier company and make arrangements for pickup by the carrier if it is an LTL shipment
• Complete and oversee paperwork for accuracy, copy bills for record keeping, and return the original bills to the customer service representatives
• Communicate with managers to ensure coordination of production lines and finished product
• Responsible for coordination of product completion and shipments on a timely basis by logging and inventory of the shipment and receiving and keeping a running total of the shipments and received loads
• Resolve customer service issues with the client and carriers
• Perform safety walks and conduct safety audits as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management / supervisors
• The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00 depending on experience. This position is also eligible for a success share bonus and benefits package.

Education / Certification : Level Required - None

Level Desired - High school diploma or equivalent

Work Experience : One year of factory related experience in shipping and receiving required
