What You'll Do

As a staff RN, you will take on a range of responsibilities that are essential to patient care :

• Perform all duties specific to your unit, ensuring high-quality care.
• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop tailored care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and modify care plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing hazards.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide constructive feedback.
• Delegate tasks to healthcare team members and validate their completion.
• Administer medications while adhering to the five rights of medication administration.
• Maintain a positive attitude to foster a healthy work environment.
• Utilize critical thinking to assess patient conditions and respond to changes.
• Provide care for patients with neurological conditions, ensuring prompt response to any changes.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following :

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days (AHA)
