This position performs complex administrative work with regional and statewide impact. Requires independent thought and judgment in support of department programs and activities. Reports to Training and Research Manager-SES and provides technical presentations to internal and external customers as requested.
Reviews and examines business processes and systems within the department to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, agency rules, policies and / or procedures. Uses data models as a communication tool and assists customers in organizing work flow activities and developing business strategies. Assists in developing solutions to increase process efficiencies and communications between users. Develops and implements best management practices relating to business process excellence. Conduct and interpret statistical analyses for business process excellence (BPE) projects.
Collaborates role for providing facilitation services regarding organizational development to the department and external customers consisting of focus groups, listening sessions, brainstorm meetings, assessments, information interviews, etc. Assists in the development of strategic planning best management practices and the implementation of the practices throughout the department. Develops and deploys measurable criteria to evaluate the effects of change initiatives in relation to the department's strategic plan. Monitors the execution of change initiatives and provides reported findings in a timely and efficient manner that meets the needs of the customer.
Conducts surveys for the department to include development, management, result stratification and subsequent reporting.
Consults with department managers in SOP development.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
