Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : December 22, 2025 End Date : March 23, 2026 Shift : 12-hour days (11 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 PM) Hours per Week : 36 Employment Type : Travel RN (locum tenens) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1950 - $2090 per week ER RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or Iowa Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience as an ER RN in an Emergency Department At least 1 completed travel nursing contract Current certifications : ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NRP, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, MOAB (MAB / MOAB / CPI de-escalation may be obtained during onboarding if needed) Ability to float within the same nursing discipline across local hospital campuses as needed Must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility (local travelers not accepted) ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to manage patient care Respond quickly to emergent situations and deliver critical interventions Accurately document care and interventions in the EPIC EMR system Participate in required holiday coverage (must work 2 of 3 major winter holidays) Float to other nursing units within the same discipline as needed Rock Island, IL is part of the vibrant Quad Cities area, offering beautiful riverfront views, a thriving arts scene, and abundant outdoor recreation.
