Pediatric Dentist - Chicago, IL

Job Type : Full-Time (Onsite)

Schedule : Monday - Friday (Days)

Reports To : Clinical Director

Job Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate, board-certified Pediatric Dentist to join a growing dental clinic. The role involves providing high-quality dental care to children and adolescents, including those with special healthcare needs, in a supportive, family-centered environment. The Pediatric Dentist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive, patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide preventative and restorative dental care to pediatric patients.

Diagnose and treat oral diseases, developmental conditions, and dental trauma.

Perform pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, space maintenance, extractions, and composite restorations.

Administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia per state regulations.

Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and state dental regulations.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach.

Qualifications :

DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school.

Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry Residency.

Active and unrestricted Illinois dental license.

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry.

DEA and Controlled Substance licenses for Illinois.

CPR / BLS certification (PALS preferred).

Minimum of 3 years pediatric dental experience preferred.

Strong communication skills with children and caregivers.
