You will collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure high-quality care based on research and evidence-based practices. This role involves taking accountability for comprehensive and patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.\n\nPractice Standards for a Level II Registered Nurse : \n

• Direct and coordinate nursing care, overseeing licensed and unlicensed personnel to achieve excellent patient outcomes.\n
• Engage patients, families, and health team members in the care process, including teaching and discharge planning.\n
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated plans of care.\n
• Contribute to defining standards of excellence in patient care and participate in initiatives to enhance services.\n
• Involve in performance improvement efforts and quality improvement activities.\n
• Assist in orienting new staff members, helping them integrate smoothly into the team.\n
• Serve as a point of contact for hospital and departmental policies for nurses and healthcare personnel.\n
• Participate in daily operational tasks to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.\n
• Provide feedback to leadership regarding unit needs.\n
• Engage in committees focused on nursing and hospital policy formulation.\n
• Carry out additional duties as needed.\n\nQualifications : \n
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program with experience as a Registered Nurse.\n
• Must possess a valid RN License from Virginia or a reciprocal compact state.\n
• AHA BLS Provider CPR certification required upon hire.\n
• AHA ACLS Provider certification required within 90 days.\n
