Direct and coordinate nursing care, overseeing licensed and unlicensed personnel to achieve excellent patient outcomes.\n
Engage patients, families, and health team members in the care process, including teaching and discharge planning.\n
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated plans of care.\n
Contribute to defining standards of excellence in patient care and participate in initiatives to enhance services.\n
Involve in performance improvement efforts and quality improvement activities.\n
Assist in orienting new staff members, helping them integrate smoothly into the team.\n
Serve as a point of contact for hospital and departmental policies for nurses and healthcare personnel.\n
Participate in daily operational tasks to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.\n
Provide feedback to leadership regarding unit needs.\n
Engage in committees focused on nursing and hospital policy formulation.\n
Carry out additional duties as needed.\n\nQualifications : \n
Graduated from an accredited nursing program with experience as a Registered Nurse.\n
Must possess a valid RN License from Virginia or a reciprocal compact state.\n
AHA BLS Provider CPR certification required upon hire.\n
AHA ACLS Provider certification required within 90 days.\n
