Production Operator

Job Summary :

The Production Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing or production environment. This role ensures products are produced safely, efficiently, and to quality standards while supporting the overall production process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures.

Set up machines for production runs, perform minor adjustments, and ensure proper materials are loaded.

Inspect products for quality and report any defects or irregularities to supervisors.

Maintain accurate production records, including quantities, materials used, and downtime.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Assist with equipment changeovers, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.

Ability to operate basic production machinery and follow instructions accurately.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
