Recreational Aide

Job Description :

• Assist in running recreational programs that meet the interests of the residents.
• Engage new residents to determine their interests.
• Work directly with residents in the units or off units.
• Assist the Recreation Director to set up programs area, implement and cleanup programs as needed.
• Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested.
• Keep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activities.
• Assist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate units.
• Collaborate with the Recreation Director to create / modify the recreation calendar and coordinate with outside parties to implement recreational activities.
• Be familiar with established emergency procedures.
• Deliver mail on a daily basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
