Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Education : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following : Associate Degree in NursingNursing DiplomaBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Licensure : Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations. Experience : Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit. Certifications : Required : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.Unit-Specific (Required or Preferred) : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)Certified Pediatric Hematology / Oncology Nurse (CPHON)Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)S.T.A.B.L.E.
