Description :

Therapy staff services the entire facility.

The facility features a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility and a 383-bed acute care hospital.

The average census is 240 patients.

There are 15 occupational therapists on staff, including full-time, part-time, and PRN staff.

Day shift staff supports patient care needs, with no night shift required.

Patient ratios are 4 patients per day in the rehabilitation facility and 8-12 patients per day in acute care.

The unit is equipped with 2 therapy gyms and an activities of daily living apartment.

The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech.

Typical hiring profile includes :

Hospital or rehabilitation facility experience is highly preferred.

Experience with stroke and neuro patients is also advantageous.

Typical procedures performed include evaluation, treatment, discharge, team conferences, family training, and adaptive devices.

The ideal candidate is flexible, a team player, and collaborative.

A minimum of one weekend shift per month is required, with increased weekend flexibility preferred.

Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
