Analyst II - Budget / Grant

About the job : This position performs professional level analytical work in support of the Colorado Springs Police Department's fiscal operations. The role combines responsibilities in grant writing, budget development, and financial analysis to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and compliance with funding requirements. This position is also responsible for identifying and pursuing grant opportunities, preparing and submitting proposals, and ensuring compliance with grant terms and reporting requirements. In addition, the position supports the development, monitoring, and analysis of departmental budgets, prepares financial reports, and provides data-driven recommendations to management.

Minimum Qualifications :
Education and Experience Equivalency : One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of relevant academic coursework beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience.
