Work Schedule : Monday Friday, 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (Hybrid, in office one day per week)

Job Description :
The Lease Administrator will oversee the full cycle of lease administration duties for a portfolio of retail tenants. This role involves managing leases in Yardi, maintaining compliance records, assisting with financial reporting and reconciliations, and supporting day-to-day property operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Abstract and maintain leases, amendments, and renewals in Yardi
- Monitor and ensure tenant compliance with lease terms and documentation requirements
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, CAM / tax reconciliations, and forecasting reports
- Review monthly property financial statements for accuracy and assist with property audits
- Generate and distribute tenant statements and apply payments
- Track lease milestones, renewals, and tenant move-ins / outs
- Maintain organized file systems and support general property management operations
- Collaborate with tenants, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless communication
- Provide administrative support including reports, correspondence, and other assigned projects
Qualifications :
38 years of experience in commercial or retail lease administrationStrong proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft ExcelSolid understanding of CAM and tax reconciliations, recoveries, and property budgetingExperience working within commercial real estate, including familiarity with tenant laws and lease compliance in Cook CountyExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detail and comfort with administrative tasksAdditional Details :
